Best Choice Products  |  Digital Advertising Specialist

February 2024 - Present

As Best Choice Product’s Digital Advertising Specialist, here's what I do in my time there. I work on advertising efforts on Target, Amazon, and Walmart to help the business drive revenue on these key channels. My contributions include growing out the channel’s ad sales through adding new campaigns of products that were not originally not advertised and utilize high-impression keywords to have our product show up at the top of the search engine. I also have streamlined data reporting initiatives where I provide weekly advertising reports to showcase where the company can grow their spend, resulting in achieving target return on ad spend numbers for Target.

Western Digital  |  Channel Marketing Specialist

January 2023 - November 2023

As Western Digital’s Channel Marketing Specialist, here's what I did in my time there. I worked on various projects with senior marketing managers and channel marketing managers on driving different digital media content strategy forward. I presented a new Amazon brand storefront for product marketing and digital marketing for the SanDisk Profesional Brand to transform the brand ecosystem on Amazon. I utilized search engine marketing for search campaigns to propel product growth on Amazon and attract more customers within the photography and design space.

As a new college graduate in Western Digital’s marketing program, I rotated in different teams as a marketer and drove impact for digital marketing and channel marketing teams. My projects involved competitor research, executing digital marketing initiatives, menasuring past channel marketing campaigns, and organizing merchandising across different product sites.

MILLU  |  Product Marketing Manager

September 2021 - July 2022

As MILLU’s Product Marketing Manager, here's what I did in Summer 2021. I worked on various projects with copywriters and UX Designers and Co-Founders on driving different go to market strategy campaigns forward. I spearheaded a Kickstarter launch (messaging and positioning, content design and creation) for the product (product was centered on neuroplasticity and children building better relationships with their parents). I was able to get the Kickstarter campaign initial goal funded with over 10K in 8 hours which was really exciting as a college student creating their first Kickstarter!

Nintendo 🎮 | Retail Marketing & Strategy Intern

June 2021 - Aug 2021

As Nintendo’s Retail Marketing & Strategy Intern, here's what I did in Summer 2021. I worked on various analytical projects for Nintendo’s Retail Marketing team where my projects focused on conducting competitive research, executing digital assets, and analyzing past retail marketing campaigns, and recommending new strategies and tactics for the team. Not only was my work analytical, but also creative where I collaborated with designers, legal, and product marketers on how the creative for video game digital assets used on Walmart, Amazon, and Target need to look like and properly represent the Nintendo Brand. Outside of my projects, I got to provide an intern slide deck that was used for Nintendo’s Intern Orientation and also collaborated with the Social Media & Influencers Marketing Intern on ways for Nintendo to market Nintendo as a destination employer for prospective future interns and full time employees.

Tech Pod 🐋 | Product Marketing Manager

March 2021 - August 2021

As Tech Pod’s Product Marketing Manager, here's a brief story of what I did, day-to-day. I worked cross functionally with 5+ Teams on product positioning & strategy using data-driven analysis & consumer research. I also spearheaded the development of product messaging and execute product marketing campaigns for Tech Pod’s fellowship program, newsletter, podcast, and social media platforms. I also collaborated with UX Research to conduct user research and focus group interviews to better understand how to scale Tech Pod’s user base by mapping the customer journey & personas.  View my projects tab to dive in a little deeper!

Newsletter Lead

September 2020 - March 2021

As Tech Pod Newsletter Lead, one of my key responsibilities were to market our partnerships to many different campuses (𝟏𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 subscribers from UC Berkeley, USC, Purdue, and many more!). As Newsletter Lead, I visualized the product roadmap for Tech Pod’s Newsletter and formulated different product marketing strategies that kept our subscribers engaged with our content regarding internship postings and partnerships with sponsors who paid for advertising space.

LiveReach Media Inc | Product Marketing Intern

April 2020 - June 2020

As a Product Marketing intern, I was tasked with helping launch Live Reach Media’s social distance and occupancy technology that helps rebuild consumer confidence at airports, hotels, and other big venues. Working alongside the business development manager and cofounder of LiveReach, I was tasked with market research (surveying different venues to gauge interest for our product), product marketing (how to make our product stand out against competitors, product positioning on LinkedIn), content marketing (storytelling about our social distancing product using email marketing and LinkedIn), and website design (collaborated with business development manager and graphic designer to conceptualize a redesign of the website).

Right across from Apple Park (Tim Cook’s homeland), I got to work alongside the Visitor Center retail team in Cupertino where I was tasked with cultivating Apple’s relationships with its customer base by introducing them to products and services that satisfy their needs. As a Specialist, I would be the first person customers meet when they enter the store and guide them with advice and sell them the right product solution. Throughout my two year experience, I had other roles within the store too such as maintaining visual merchandising and mentoring new team members. I would always stay on top of news about new products launches and initiatives in order to provide the best possible customer experience. One of the major takeaways from this experience was receiving great satisfaction from helping customers develop lifelong relationships with Apple.
