Retail Marketing & Strategy Intern
During Summer 2021, I joined Nintendo of America as a Marketing Intern on the Retail Marketing & Strategy team. I conducted competitor research using Excel to analyze how industry events and retailer promotions impacted console sales, presenting insights directly to the retail marketing team, senior leadership, and the SVP of Sales & Marketing. Beyond analytics, I collaborated with designers, legal, and product marketers to ensure digital assets for Walmart, Amazon, and Target reflected the Nintendo brand. I also contributed to the intern program itself by creating a presentation used for President Doug Bowser on orientation day and pitching a social media engagement strategy to position Nintendo as a destination employer for interns and employees alike.
